Your player must be registered for session 1 in order to participate in assessments. If your child is not registered for session 1, your registration for assessments will be canceled.
Before each season begins, Ignite Volleyball Club hosts league assessments to ensure players are placed on teams that best match their current skill level, experience, and developmental needs. These assessments are not tryouts. Every player is guaranteed placement. These assessments are essential to creating balanced teams and a fun, competitive environment for all participants.
During the assessment, coaches will evaluate players on key areas such as serving, passing, setting, hitting, movement, and communication. This process helps coaches understand each athlete’s strengths and areas for growth, ensuring teammates are evenly matched and can progress together throughout the season.
Assessments also give players an opportunity to meet coaches, get comfortable with the environment, and set personal goals for the upcoming session. Our goal is to ignite confidence, build balanced teams, and create an enjoyable learning experience for every player.
